Let's not act like this is how players typically act. Usually the players conduct themselves with class. If that was typical of how players acted, no one would be posting pictures of the Ruskies acting like that.

this is fairly typical of the russian teams in the juniors. its usually highlighted more when they take out a high profile team.

and when they lose they try and start brawls or go drinking and end up getting kicked off of planes

The celebration was excessive, but I don't think that was so bad. At least he did it in front of his own bench instead of the Canadian bench.

It's just too bad that Canada couldn't complete the comeback - I think Russia was up 6-1 at one point and the final ended up being 6-5 (Canada hit the post with a couple of secconds remaining in the game).

As for the celebration, halfway through the 2nd period and you start that celebratory diving crap, I don't care where in the arena it takes place, that's garbage.
