Cameron and Johnson did okay. Besler and Beasley were terrible. Jones wasn't at his best, but was a warrior. Fuck Dempsey. Absolutely lazy and selfish. Wood tried his best to save it. Jozy had his good moments. Zardes was invisible most of the time. Bradley tried, but couldn't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. Guzan was a beast, but can't do it on his own.

Mexico is a much better squad than US and it showed tonight. I wouldn't call it an "embarrassing display" as they answered TWICE in this game. I'd rather them lose on the field than in penalties. Congrats to the Mexicans.

I'm looking forward to us having a talented playmaker in Gedion Zelalem. His style of game and his skill are what the US needs in the midfield. He's only 18 but this team is clearly in rebuild mode and fortunately, have tons of young talent in Woods, Johansen, Yedlin, Green and Brooks.

I think we can get it together to qualify for Russia. But I can think of a dozen countries that have World class teams made up of players in their early to mid 20's. Klinsmann has a tough job ahead of him. He'll have to make some tough choices on personnel and "call ups".

US will be in a dogfight with Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica and Canada for a spot.
