Arkansas State 7-5 = 1-3 OOC
Oregon 8-4 = 1-2 OOC
Northern Illinois 8-4 = 2-2 OOC
Rutgers 2-10 = 0-9 B1G
Illinois 3-9 = 2-7 B1G
Wisconsin 11-1 = 8-1 B1G
Ohio State 12-0 = 9-0 B1G
Purdue 3-9 = 2-7 B1G
Northwestern 8-4 = 5-4 B1G
Minnesota 4-8 = 2-7 B1G
Penn State 10-2 = 7-2 B1G
Iowa 7-5 = 5-4 B1G
USA Today predicts Nebraska to go 8-4, 2-1 OOC, 6-3 B1G. Predicts nebraska loses to Oregon(I guess), but somehow Oregon loses to Southern Utah and Wyoming. I certainly do not see Nebraska losing to Arkansas State or Northern Illinois, although it is possible.
Six home games will be against teams predicted to go bowling, Ark State, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Northwestern, and Iowa. two away games against teams going bowling, Penn State and Oregon.
Of course, USA Today might not have applied logic and cross examination to their creation of their predictions.
Wisconsin loses to someone in the B1G, not sure who though. The Nebraska game is in Lincoln, whereas their other tough conference games are in Madison. USA Today must think Nebraska can beat them. I consider that game a loss with Nebraska a 5% chance of a victory. Nebraska has a 0.08% chance against Ohio State and Penn State. (percentages made up on the spur of the moment)
My esteemed colleague, Brasky, believes Nebraska will beat BOTH Wisconsin and Ohio State in back to back weeks. Let's see, Nebraska comes off of a game with Wisconsin, meanwhile, Ohio State will have played Rutgers and Maryland before the Nebraska game.
Ohio State predicted to face 9 bowl teams, Wisconsin predicted to face five bowl teams. Washington predicted to face six bowl teams. Wisconsin and Washington have the easiest schedules and Wisconsin gets the easiest schedule.
