Unofficial rivals

anyone have unofficial rivals with your team? A game that isn't seen as a rivalry, you may not face them every year, you may not be in the same conference, maybe it stems from a head-head matchup of a few years ago, or a bowl matchup, or meeting each other a couple times in a bowl and it just sorta turned into a rivalry?

For example, my unofficial rival is Boise State.

fair enough, I'd say they're there as an unofficial rival, an exciting game coming up and both of us fully EXPECT to win this game.

I feel like it is. I would probably say UF, we've had some good games and a history in the SEC CG together. Even played in the first ever SEC CG against each other in '92.

just from the board, I feel like Ohio State/Florida have a bit of a rivalry going on. I feel some disliking there.

Being an Ohio State fan on these message boards are great. Knowing the simple fact that being a Buckeyes fan makes cocksuckers like Juice, KT, 24/7, Brasky, etc. blood boil is fuckin' fantastic.
Plus add to the fact that CUM left UF for a more prestigious, stress-filled job like Ohio State makes it that much more intriguing.
