Strong to Arkansas
Close game for a 2 win vs. 8 win team
USF caught looking ahead to UCF next week.
Exactly. Plus they jumped on Tulsa pretty early. Then they just relaxed. Could have cost them,
but didn't. There was nothing to take away from that game.
UCF could be a repeat for tomorrow, and it could hurt UCF. Temple is better than Tulsa. Plus
win or lose vs Temple...Next week is the biggest game of the season for UCF so a lost to Temple
would not destroy their season.
Granted, Memphis would climb over them for the best Group of 5 team, but they would get a
rematch with Memphis and that would overcome a loss to Temple.
UCF has zero to play for tomorrow.
Nebraska could bring in Bill Belichick and it wouldn’t get into the CFP for quite some time. They need recruiting classes along with the coach.
CFB is all about collecting the most talent. Those are the teams you will find in the CFP. Top 25 recruiting classes aren’t going to cut it — you need regular top 5, top 10 classes. You may get a team to slide in like a Michigan State every now and then, but the days of a coach walking on campus and turning a program completely around are over unless you already have the talent.
Very much agree on Temple. Temple is by no means a terrible team. When they are on their game they're decent.
Not so sure about UCF having zero to play for tomorrow. Frost certainly does.
But yes, even if UCF wins tomorrow, they can throw it ALL away next week in a loss to USF. Loser of that game eliminates them from the AAC CCG and the New Years 6 slot.
In the big picture, all a loss to USF will do is expedite Frost's departure to a P5.
Yep.
Frost is going to Tennessee...right? (lmao)
Maybe, if Nebraska opts to go elsewhere.
