:noidea: Didn't see that signing coming because I didn't know who the hell he was to begin with.

He was like NO 4th RB. Only played when Ingram and PT were hurt. Kid has some talent for sure. He is a very good catching back. Other than that, no clue. He is certainly nothing close to what Vereen was or what Bush could have been. Cheap to sign, what else ya got? Makes me think RB is higher on NE mind than we thought.

I still would've liked seeing them go after PT. He can return KOs supposedly? Maybe there is a plan in the works to trade Amendola when you combine moves like this and all the WRs on the roster? I'm also in the not impressed with this move club.

I could see them moving Dola if they got Johnson. Not so sure anymore TBH. I mean KO guys are useless this day and age if you ask me. They down it to much. I think after Blount/Bolden, NE is unsure about their RB. Gray was used once. White has not seen the field, Cadet was only on the field for passing downs. Gaffney was a 6th rd pick who ended up on IR after another team cut him. IDK, going to interesting to say they least.

I was a huge fan of keeping Vereen. When he left I felt that PT was and is still the best FA out there that would fit. He shouldn`t cost much, excellent receiving back and a pretty good blocker.

Agree that KRs are becoming a thing of the past. Just scratching my head on this pick up. Oh well in BB we trust.

Camp competition. If the other 3 unknowns can't catch, this pick-up likely sticks. We have a lot of options at RB.
Oh ye of little faith.....

a 4th string RB on a team whose games I don't see much of..yeah, didn't know the name. I suppose there are people who know the entire rosters of all 32 teams. I'm not one of them.

Honestly I forgot that the guy was still playing. Since I don't think he was used all that often with the Saints. But he is a Vereen type player who can catch just like Vereen... Cheaper too, no?

This is a decent signing. We don't know a ton about the guy, but it looks like he's going to compete for the scat back role in our offense. White looks to be part of that competition also.

Ya know....we question this pick up, but I also questioned the Woodhead pick up. I think he did OK here. LOL. I guess we should hold on for now.

I always liked Woodhead. Never questioned signing him but still question letting him get away. Most of the guys the Pats let go make sense but to me not keeping Woodhead didn't. I don't think he got a ton of money in SD.

I honestly thought he was going to get cut by SD, but after Mathews left, they really have no one. I agree wanted to see him back.

He must have done something off the field in order to get cut in New England. But then again, BB has his ways and if someone out performs (or BB thinks they will outperform) someone else, that person usually gets cut.

Woodhead got $5 million per, as I recall. That's serious $$$$ for a 5'8" RB.....

Woodcock (that was hilarious) wasn't cut. He was a FA. SD offered him a lot.
