I also contest the claim that scheffler is a viable receiving option who could be plugged right in, but even assuming that claim as accurate, these receivers need reps in real games. Every rep scheffler would get would make this team worse.

There's a reason Dobson kept getting throws when he was struggling. They know he's worth keeping involved. Edelman has been used fairly consistently by the patriots when he has been healthy, so I'm not surprised he's getting involved when he has the chance. Week 10, he's the fifth option, week 16, he's 6th at best behind vereen as well. We don't need a mediocre tight end who doesn't know our offense.

I will be pissed if we trade Leshoure...Joique was awful this week and if Linehan has any clue about his personnel and the opponents, then he needs to do a better job of creating match-ups and maybe Leshoure should have been in there this week.
