Giants and Colts are in the market for a running back. Is Mayhew shopping him? I havent read anything on trade rumors but I must believe they are shopping him if they aren't going to activate him. The time is now while other teams are desperate.

I traded Leshoure to Atlanta in my Madden 25 online franchise for a 4th, 6th and a 7th rounder. If that was Mayhew it would be a shitty trade but my virtual scouts are pretty thorough.

Who in their right mind would give us a fourth for Scheffler? I just don't see it. A 5th maybe. Probably not enough for us to trade him. I like Fauria, but at this point, he is our only TE who can catch. Pettigrew still looks bad and Williams is not coming back soon ( and also cant catch).

A team desperate for a real receiving option with veteran experience. After Edelman the Pats are struggling to find a consistent threat. Even with gronk back Scheffler would fit their style of play. A 4th may be asking a little much but considering they have playoff aspirations they need to give Brady a legit option.

How much depth does he provide when he has been passed by Bell and Riddick? I think there is a simple reason for that (not just that he has lost a step), Bush, Bell, and Riddick can catch passes, Leshoure cant, therefore he doesn't fit into our style of play.

I'm not ready to trade a proven short yardage back just because he's not a clone of Bush/Best. One-dimensional is not what I want the Lions to strive for. Now if the Lions could trade for someone to provide better depth at another position, I'm all for it. But just to throw him away for a draft pick at this point of the season is folly, unless someone offers real value.

Where are you coming up with that one?

Leshoure caught 34 passes last season, that's not too shabby for a RB.

The reason Riddick was active last week and Leshoure wasn't is that Riddick can line up in the slot as a WR if need be, something Leshoure wouldn't be nearly as effective at.

If we can get good value I'm all for trading him because we'll be 5 deep with capable RBs once Owens returns. However, there's no need to trade him simply because he's sitting behind two better backs on the depth chart... nothing wrong with having quality depth.

Remember that this is a guy who put up over 1,000 yards from scrimmage and 9 TDs last season...

Normally we're on the same page JDM, but when it comes to non-Patriots you seem to massively under-value other team's players.

You guys have no need at RB because you're as deep there as any team in the league, but to say that Leshoure isn't even worthy of being signed off the street is just silly. In his redshirt rookie season he rushed for 800 yards and caught 34 passes for just over 200 yards while scoring 9 TDs.

He's not the explosive back he was pre-injury, but he's hardly a throw-away at this point in his career...

We don't have room for leshoure, so I wouldn't sign him either. I was replying to him saying they should trade us scheffler. I am perfectly content with what we have at receiver/ tight end, and we are and should be committed to the players we have.
