I think Zimmer is just messing with Carolina to make sure they game plan for AD and not just Mckinnon/Asiata. There is no way AD plays with a torn meniscus.Crazy that Zimmer and others keep talking like he still might be playing this week. Most that is an out for the season kind of injury.

My son tore his meniscus second game his senior year in high school and played in the 3rd game. After a state run (12 additional games) he had the meniscus removed in January and played his varsity baseball season in March. People are different, but it's possibleAs long as the cartilage isn't moving around in there, it's all about pain management. If the cartilage is moving, it could lock his knee up and really fuck with him.
Precisely. Biggest things are pain management and whether or not the cartilage moves around and gets into the knee joint. If the cartilage is moving, it restricts range of motion in the leg.My son tore his meniscus second game his senior year in high school and played in the 3rd game. I hope he does sit out this week. Carolina is very good at home, and they have a stout defense. I don't see the Vikes winning the game anyway. Get AD rested up for the primetime Monday night home game vs the Giants on 10/3 and what appears to be a strong defense matchup with the Texans on 10/9.

I would definitely like to know how torn it is. Must not be bad if they are not talking surgery at the moment. And most people we are talking at least 4-6 weeks of healing to make sure no further injury actually happens. AD isn't like most people though so maybe his body heals faster but I would probably at least give him 2 weeks without any contact.
True. Just depends like most injuries on the severity of it. Also when I posted earlier for some reason I had in my head MCL not Meniscus.Meniscus isn't a very tough one to overcome. Guys can be ready to play rather quickly.
I'd wait if I were AP though.
