what has changed other than the calender? same core players. age is not really a factor yet. nothing has changed. same teams. same players. will be same results. miami never trailed that series last year and was NEVER threatened in an elimination game. indy cannot beat miami when the game matters.

What has changed is the experience Indy has gained, along with a lot more hunger and motivation to win. Plus their bench has changed.

isn't this sort of misleading considering all the bad teams in the east? example the thunder will play more teams over .500 then the east teams. big difference between sacramento and charlotte

Not really. It just means that Indy and Miami will play less .500 teams than the West but the Heat are 7-1 against teams over .500

seems to me that's an advantage. as good as that Portland game was there could be 4 more...but instead will be taken up by the likes of wizards, bobcats, 76ers, magic etc
