Steve Nash won 18 more games than KG that year. Normally I dont think team wins are a huge deal for MVP but...18!! There is a reason his actual MVP rank was 11th. He wasn't on anyone's radar other than 'hey, could you imagine if KG was on a real team?' conversations.

Nash should have got 3 straight. Dirk robbed him and then the Mavs got knocked out by the 8 seed in the first round.

Nash over Kobe in 06. That Lakers squad was dirt rotten and Kobe's out of his mind play got them into the playoffs and took the Suns to 7 games (should have won in 6 but fucking Chris Mihm and Odom couldn't get a rebound in regulation seal the deal). I'm putting all bias aside (and I love me some Nash too) but Kobe was the MVP that year.
