Are you a lost alien from the planet Lovetron? Turn on a dime??? :wtf: They're in a controlled slide the entire time they're on the track.

nope, no way to prove he did in that vid.

Right. Except that anyone with 3 brain cells can clearly see him do it. You're asking us to not believe our eyes? It only "looks" like he was dodging cars and finally struck by one? It never really happened?

Okay, I think dirtboy's son is on his account because this isn't like him. Either that or he's shitfaced and won't remember this tomorrow.

and they just said on Sportscenter that he was only going between 25-35 mph

Yeah at low speeds the front tires are more than capable of providing all the grip needed.

If Tony had been entering the turn at speed, then hitting the gas is the only way to make it around the corner and holding the line. If that is what happened, my opinion on this would be the exact opposite. But as it was under pace speed, it's just not needed.

Further to that, being hit by the rear tire rather than the front goes to show that if Tony hadn't hit the gas at all, he wouldn't have hit the guy. Because even when hitting the gas helps the car turn at speed, the front wheels do not suddenly move to the left(that would only happen if the rear tires gripped, which they didn't/don't).

The car doesn't rotate in the center, the pivot point is at the front tires. So missing with the front tires shows that his turn radius was fine until he hit the gas.

as opposed to the front end killing him

Correct, that the front wheels missed goes to show that Tony's car was already going to miss him completely. It was the hitting of the gas and kicking the rear end out that hit him.

They are not in a controlled slide the entire time they are on the track. That is only at speed in the turns, not at pace speeds.

If it happened at race speeds, I'd totally be in agreement with you.

What's the point if they're not going to listen and actually be willing to change their opinion? Just a futile exercise and one that I really don't feel like fooling with tonight. Got too many other things to do the night before classes begin and it's already been over 300 posts of running around in circles.
