Correct. Manpower shortage during WWII forced teams to merge. In '43 the Steelers merged with the Eagles and in '44 they merged with the Chicago Cardinals.

There should be a Steegles movie. A lot of people don't even know the state of a Pennsylvania was so broke ass it had to join its teams.

A lot of people are ignorant of the fact that Philadelphia's wealth, or lack thereof, had nothing to do with that extremely dark period in our history. A lot of people don't realize that a little thing called World War II caused it.

A lot of people also like to post incorrect fantasy tales about the Eagles and the City of Philadelphia, call the best QB in the NFL (circa Week 11) a scrub, and also claim that I am a bandwagon fan despite posting every week on the Eagles' board during the 2013 and 2015-2017 seasons (I wasn't on the hoop during the 2014 season).
