Iowa looked fucking great tonight vs utep. Hopefully the guys have matured enough that they wont be disappointed to be playing nova instead of ku because if theyre focused we should crush nova.

Shout out to psu for a nice win vs st johns too. Since their early loss to bucknell the lions have played pretty damn well. Hope it continues. Frazier deserves a good last season

fyi...
3 of MSU's starters won't be playing SA.14.DEC against Oakland.
Center M. Constello - out with mono;
Forward A. Payne - sore foot; and
Guard G. Harris - recurrent ankle problems
fuck fuck fuck
Sparty's season might be shorter than we thunk.

Evan Gordan has really come alive these past two games. It's been against subpar opponents, but lets see where this goes, we need someone to set up. He's 9-10 and 4-4 from 3pt land right now.

HUGE game this Friday for the Hawks. Visiting unbeaten and 17th ranked Iowa State. Iowa matches up really well with the Clones as ISU doesnt really have the size or the athletes to hang with Iowa IF we can stop them from burning the nets ( as they are known to do ). Melvin Ejom and Georges Niang are really solid players for ISU and Dustin Hogue is coming off national player of the week, Deanrdre Kane is a great playmaker ro ISU. Should be a whale of a game and if you like offense this is must watch TV. 830 CST on ESPNU. Ill take Iowa 91-85 but Hilton is a tough ass place to win so a loss here wouldnt shock me.

They definitely look like the sixth best team, but i'm not exactly sold. Your best game of the year was that one-point loss to UConn, and you guys had 19 turnovers. That's not gonna work against the top five B1G teams.

Right now, for my projected postseason seeds, i'd go:

MSU- 1
Ohio State- 3
Wisconsin- 3
Iowa- 4
Michigan- 6
Indiana- 9
Illinois- First Four
Nebraska- NIT 3 seed
Minnesota- NIT 5 seed

No tourneys for Purdue, Northwestern, and Penn State
Wisconsin's starting to look more like a 2-seed...

If we go by the numbers, they could be a #1 seed. They currently have the #2 RPI

#4 in AP
#6 in Coaches
#2 in RPI
#8 in Pomeroy
#1 in Massey

Sounds like a formula for getting the #1 seed to me. Keep in mind they don't travel to Michigan State or Ohio State this year so that's two potential losses to take off their record...

Iowa pissed that one down the pant leg, Michigan style. The Hawks should have closed that out (a lot of shots not dropping for Iowa in the final minutes to end the Iowa St. 8-0 run, adding insult to injury). But like you said, The Cyclones are very hard to beat in Ames....especially when they've got a good team.

Not a big deal though and Iowa will bounce back stronger.

If IU doesn't get these turnovers under control, we'll be lucky to finish 6th in the B1G.

Can Bo Finally complete the undefeated regular season? He's been undefeated a couple times in BIG play but never the entire reg. season. With our best offense ever and favorable schedule this is definitely the season to accomplish this difficult feat.

Wat

No one's gone undefeated in D1 in almost 40 years (includes tourney), and I'm fairly sure Bo's never gone undefeated in B1G play either....so :wtf2: to this entire post.

I think he meant "pre-conference" regular season. That's what he assumed when I read it. But I can't help you on the undefeated B1G season. I could look it up, but I'm feeling lazy today. :)

Not a real good day for the B1G outside of Wisconsin and Nebraska.

I'd like to see unranked 9-1 Illinois take it to #15 8-0 Oregon tonight. neither team's played/beaten a ranked team so far this season; competition is comparable...so why's Illinois not even receiving votes in any poll yet? smells.

It's most likely going to be the same ole story for illinios though, they're always good until they get into conference play. They beat some good teams early last season and then collapsed.

My fault, I was looking at the UW website and seen 16-0 and 19-0 under Bo but once I scrolled up I realized it was just Home games for the season and it was to late to edit. I wasn't including the tourney, I was saying just the reg season. This team is improving each game as they're young mixed in with a couple of vets just like the teams with Tucker and Harris. I believe the Badgers should be favored in every game from here on out until the tourney starts.
