Michigan might need to beat Indiana to get in. Absolutely have to beat Northwestern. Ohio State probably needs to beat Michigan State.

I wonder if Iowa has a shot at Des Moines. Not sure what seed they need. I wonder if getting past Purdue would do it.

Top 4 seeds get preference. Iowa is probably a 4 or 5 right now. A trip to the semis should lock it up as long as some 6/7 type seeds don't win their conference tourneys

The most important thing is matchups. That's why Wisconsin could beat Arizona in their backyard but not beat Duke at home.

For sure. I'm just being selfish because I have all session tickets so I would LOVE to see Iowa there

I might go to Chicago but I need to see the matchups first. I am easy so anything from the Big Ten or MAC and I probably will go.

I saw Lunardi today had Iowa in Denver. I'd be selfish too if I could see the Hawks at Pepsi Center

Looks pretty good. Personally I would have given POY to Yogi, I LOVE Denzel but he missed some time and his team finished second. All in all its good though

my only wtf is, as noted earlier, with the "newcomer" category...
I'd agree with the choice if the category was "rookie head banger" of the year.

:tsk:

I think with a couple of mid major upsets today we can pretty much assume UM is out. I would say "Very disappointing down the stretch" but I never thought this team was any good even with CL in the lineup. My belief in Beilein is starting to sway. Terrific guy but not so sure about his basketball philosophy. Good Luck to the rest of you guys in the B1G tourney, should be fun!

So is the B1G tourney a waste of time or not? The committee didn't even wait to see who won before making MSU a 2 and Purdue a 5...

Pretty much. The tourney are more for fan enjoyment. Committee doesn't seem to even look at the Sunday games.

Seeing a championship would be cool. But the tourney that starts in 3 days is the only one that matters.

I'd take an embarrassing 1st round conference loss if it meant a second weekend or better run for the real thing.

yah...it was way great...we're so happy...really tired, sore, aching but we're not complaining, mind you...after all, we just put our hearts and souls -and tendons, en sech- on the line three straight bloody days of brutal clashes for the benefit of the mob and for this shiny trophy, that we'd like to jam up the Selection Committee's collective ass.

fuck the tourney.

only THE DANCE MATTERS...nothing else
