I'm pretty sure Eichorst is retarded. He didn't think this whole thing through. Just made a stupid gut decision because some boosters were threatening to bail if something wasn't done to improve the losses.

I want Bo back! :bawling::bawling::bawling:

I wanted Bo gone only if an actual slam dunk was his replacement. Instead, we get a disaster.
We may get a really good year out of him next year maybe, but then two losing seasons the following two seasons.

Total Offense 70
Rushing Offense 109
Passing Offense 31

I got the impression that he was bringing his offensive guy along. It'll be nice to see real football again, with a QB under center and a FB in to block for the I-Back when down on the 2 yard line.

He's gonna have stop saying "Tailback" though. This ain't fuckin' USC dammit.

The guy that called games of 10, 14, 13, and 19 points? No way should John Garrett come here.

On the DC, which tomHusker is NOT talking about

And no way in hell the DC, Mark Banker, should be able to be within 500 miles of Lincoln He only allowed scores of 30, 35, 39, 31, 38, 45, 37, and 47. I guess that is better than giving up over 50 though.

It hasn't always worked that well.

Banker has been a frequent lightning rod for fan discontent over past 13 seasons, the critics unhappy with the Beavers' six-game Civil War losing streak.(edit: make it seven)

They were after his head last year, incensed by the way Eastern Washington quarterback Vernon Adams picked Banker's defense apart.

It can be hard on Banker's family to see him trashed by anonymous message board posters, but the vitriol has quieted this season.

yep just saw that and was coming to post it. sounds like he was Riley's best recruiter. I sure as hell hope he is a good coach, sounds like he was a pretty decent LB when he played at Oregon State.

Don't get yer hopes too high.... According to the article, it's say's coach riley has his feelers out to see if there's any interest. I'm assuming for the DC job, I have a hard time seeing any other position offered or accepted.
