Good but ugly win against Florida. The play calling was horrendous again, here was our play book for the majority of tonight;

1) Henry up the middle when they put 9 or 10 in the box
2) Drake / Ridley jet sweep
3) Hail Mary
4) Bubble screen

This will not win in the playoffs. Great win Bama, Kiffin sucks, Roll Tide.

There's one thing Derrick Henry has done his entire career, in high school and college... and that's run for more than everyone else.

1st in high school history

Led team in rushing last year DESPITE less carries and Yeldon being 1st string

Leads country this year in rushing


All this guy does is run the ball more than anyone else. He isn't as explosive as Dalvin Cook, as versatile as McCaffrey, as flashy as Elliot or Freeman, or as electric as Fournette.

But he is the guy everybody wants on their team and doesn't want to face. He's the guy who's supposed to get ran down by defensive backs, but somehow ACCELERATES past them with ease. A back his size and stature is NOT supposed to be as fast as he is.

I remember in the preseason when his nickname was "All-Hype Henry" and people said he was all hype and wasn't nearly as good as advertised. Well, I don't know about you, but I only see 2 running backs going to New York this weekend for the Heisman Trophy presentation, and he just so happens to be one of them.

Im happy for A'shawn and Jonathon Allen for 1st team ALL-SECBut Jarran Reed deserved it more than both of them.

I'm with ya' there. We'll miss him as much as Robinson and Allen, Reed is the only interior d-lineman in the Saban era to record 50 or more tackles in a season and he's done it in back to back years.

David Pollack is awesome.

There is a show called "Championship Drive" on. It has him and also Kanell and Galloway. They were talking about the teams and after talking about Alabama Pollack asked Kanell and Galloway "Do you still think Alabama is over-rated". And they were like "Nah, we never thought they were over-rated trying to deny it" and Pollack just had a shit eating grin on his face like - yeah sure.

I thought this team was going to be special before this year started and overall they've pretty much lived up to it so far.
