That kid is gone. The system isn't a fit and it's not like there aren't other prospects A&M will land.

Aggy fans are NOTORIOUS for getting their hopes up when the writing is on the wall. Once you guys landed Foster in this cycle, we all pretty much knew Gunnell was gone.

Apparently you never listen to Billy Lucci that you want to take a QB every year. Also Gunnell fits Jimbo's system perfectly since he's a pass first run second QB just like Foster is.

You might want to rethink that. Jimbo wants a dual threat QB - Foster is a much better fit for that than Gunnell, Gunnell is a statue.

Gunnell, nor his parents, believe he is a schematic fit. Which is WHY he decommitted. The kid is GONE. I'd lay odds at 80+% he's headed to Arkansas when it's all said and done.

Jameis was also the ONLY QB he's done really well with.

Jimbo is currently going all out to get Roschon Johnson, and that ship has long sailed. Gunnell isn't in his plans unless it's a backup option. I think Gunnell knows that already

They needed to make a splash. Once Jimbo fizzles out they'll find some money and lure him away from Arky, which shouldn't be that tough to do.

Finding 100+ million to buy out Fisher isn't likely to happen. If Fisher bombs, they're stuck with him unless he retires.
