This was huge imo. I like this pickup a lot and knowing we are about to lose out on Anthony Cook. Johnson plays safety, but he will play corner with us.

However, my fear is losing Cox and he was down in Bama on an official and slick Nick pulling shitout of his ass to try to flip him. UGA is another threat. We shall see? If we can get him up in Columbus next week, I'll feel much better as Urbs is a master of closing the deal.

Who knows? He's "110% committed" but still "considering his options". QB Coach Ryan Day and HC Urban Meyer had an in-home visit with him yesterday. When Tyreke Johnson committed, Jones tweeted a "welcome to the class" message.

Still no idea although the guy I follow most closely thinks the Buckeyes hang on and keep him.

This is an enormous blow. I truly don't know what's going through his head, but we're in a bad spot. We have several other DE targets but nothing is a slam dunk. Evidently they've gone in on 5* Eyabi Anoma and are still very much in on Jayson Oweh and Tyreke Smith.

Unless something changes, though, we're gonna have 3 scholarship DE's next season. Granted, two of them are superhuman forces and the 3rd was also a 4-5* guy depending on the outlet, but we need bodies.
