Ohio State and Cincinnati are rarely (if ever) in serious competition for the same recruits.

That being said Cincinnati is benefiting and will for the near future at least continue to benefit from Meyers more national recruiting approach. If a Tressel was still at Ohio State a few players Cincinnati is gonna end up this year would more than likely be headed to Ohio State.

I think that same reason is why a team like Kentucky has recruited much better in the last 4/5 years.

Yep, it's helped a few teams by the chain reaction effect.

guys like Lynn Bowden, JaVonte Richardson, Tyrell Ajian from last years UK class alone are likely Buckeyes with a Tressel minded coach at the helm. Kentucky gained 3 4* players right there alone from the Meyer effect. Danny Clark probably stays with Ohio State as well instead of being pushed out.

Yes, I think Trout and Thompson are high on Mizzou.

I think Perkins is a strong possibility....his brother is already on the team

I wouldn't count out Babb who is right now an Ohio St lean....but he has shown some signs of being interested in Mizzou still

Babb is more of an Ohio State lock than a lean at this point in time. It would take some serious shit for him to wind up anywhere else.

Babb like you said is a Buckeye lock. Not sure why he hasn't committed yet?

Copeland committed to Florida last night with a good video. I think that kid will be very good if he keeps his head above the noise.

I was gonna say, Babb isn't going to Mizzou. Not a chance.

Scout is garbage. 247 composite is the standard. Oregon is 5 there. That won't last either. There are a number of schools with a higher average recruit ranking and less recruits.

Exactly. The fact that they have 21 recruits is why they're so high.

I still think they'll end up with a top 15 class, which all things considered would be pretty good for Oregon. Heck maybe even top 10.

Very possible. You never know how the season will unfold, so there could be major shake-ups. I would expect Tenn, OSU, and Oregon to drop outside the top 10. You know USC and Bama will end up in the top 10.

Oregon is also going to sign 28 players because of the attrition during the coaching change. That will improve their ranking. My guess is Oregon ends up top 15, possibly top 10 if they land all their top targets.

I would agree, they've gotten off to a great start for 2018, better than I would have expected, considering what happened last year and with a coaching change.

I was praying Oregon would keep Helfrich on for at least one more season.
