I'm pulling for Speith for the historical aspect of it, DJ for my heart. If he gags this one he will officially join my choker's list who I won't root for.

Tell us how you really feel

I have to say, I'm actually proud of Tiger and the way he has handled himself in his last few tournaments.

He's played all right a couple of times, but when he has sucked, he at least had the courtesy to finish his rounds and not walk off the course claiming he's injured.

Baby steps.

I'd like to see the golf fans here in America take the lead from the European fans and stop all the embarrassing "GET IN THE HOLE!!!" and the "YOU DA MAN!!!!" screaming calls at the shots of the golfers.

Nothing but applause from the British Open gallery.
Too many drunken golf fans in America.

Tiger should start preparing himself for the Champions Tour. He already looks like a Senior.

Ha! There are very few things that disgust me more than a professional athlete who consistently chokes

So basically your a bandwagon fan but instead of jumping on the team that wins the SB or world series you jump on as fan of individual athletes who win Wimbledon or The British Open?

Is that correct ...not really sure.

Play suspended because of wind?? Man that seems shitty to me. Conditions are part of golf. Is it fair that some guys would have had to play in it while others didnt?? No but thats golf, its not fair when some guys tee off in the afternoon and its 100 while others tee off in the morning and its 70 either. Part of the Opens allure is the conditions and having to play through it. If it was supposed to be asy then everyone could do it

There's all kind of inequity due to tee times being so diverse; early could be sunny and nice and for the later starts dealing with rain and wind! That's the way the golf ball bounces! That's why it's so hard to win consistently and when someone does like Tiger or Spieth we give them Gawd-like props! :agree: :suds: :thumb:

Forgive me if I don't care to watch guys try to play in these conditions

It is an embarrassment that the Open Championship was suspended due to wind. St. Andrews is famous for wind and rain.

St Andrews is not a difficult course. It is set up that why because it's primary defense is the wind.

But how some of you can't tell the difference between a wind you play in and a wind you can't ...I'll never now.

That is Louie O this morning showing you what the difference is.

No. Loyalty is one of the things I prize most in people. I am always loyal to my teams. I cannot stomach a professional athlete who cannot perform in the clutch whoever.

Today's third round was probably the best single day of action I've seen in a British Open. I have a new guy to root for, the Irish amateur, Paul Dunne. Then I'd like to see Spieth win low professional and take the prize money since

If Spieth wins tomorrow the media will go bonkers.
