I really hope that they keep Gausman down in AAA no matter what. It will do him a disservice if he keeps getting shuttled back and forth between Norfolk and Baltimore. Keeping Tillman down in Norfolk for an extended period of time let him regain the confidence he lost while he kept getting battered around whenever he was brought up and now he's a solid pitcher. Hopefully the same can become of Gausman.

Tonight has to be alarming. Tillman couldn't find the strike zone, couldn't exceed 90mph on his average fastball and after the team pulled him out of a hole, he couldn't record an out. Ubaldo looks like garbage if you ask me and the rest of the rotation is average to below average. We are in huge trouble and may lose ground if we can't strike a deal for some real pitching unless of course, your counting on Gausman who has looked bleak lately or Bundy coming off injury. There is always 80 yr old Santana waiting in the wings. You get my point, same thing every year with our pitching. The FO must be scratching their heads wondering WTF!?

Staked to a 3-0 Norris precedes to implode in the 4th now down 4-3. The pitching on this team is absolutely horrid. Same 'ol crap every year with out pitching. When was the last time we ever ran any pitcher out the mound and the other team would say, "damn, we have to face this guy tonight"? Maybe all the way back to Mussina.
