Thoughts on Players Union

Any thoughts? I don't think a union will fly...think it is impractical and a step too far, but that said, I am 100% in favor of just about everything the Northwestern players were asking for. Players have to have some kind of seat at the table imo and the sad truth is they don't have that right now. The schools and the NCAA better get out in front of this and pronto. If they don't they are going to get run over in a hurry. If it stands up under appeal, the NLRB decision is beyond huge. IMO at least.

I think its stupid.

If the students are now employees they can sign contracts. Play as long as they want. Don't have to attend class. Make incentive bonuses. Be fired for poor job performance and the greatest of all, pay taxes.

The simple solution is take the tv money away. The schools administrators have gotten greedy. To protect amateurism schools must stop profiteering in the millions.
