Didn't see Thor I, did see the Avengers.
I knew immediately that the guy that played Thor is a terrible fucking actor.
There's no chance in hell I'm going to see that movie. Nothing in a movie can overcome him sucking.

Seeing it tonight. Was a bit let down by Ironman 3, I'm keeping the faith with this one.

I'll catch it next week. Wasn't a big fan of Thor I, but I'm too big of a Norse myth buff to not go see Marvel's Thor.

I'll give it a 6/10. It was entertaining enough, of the big time Marvel heroes Thor is certainly my least favorite. They just didn't do enough to build up the villain, I didn't really care about him. Unlike the other movies unless there was action occurring I was kind of disinterested in this one, the dialogue was pretty weak.

NO, the clear worst is marvel avenger is captain america... he is a copy of superman without the awsomeness(and clearly inferior powers).

7/10

Pros
- Loki...admittedly I was never really a fan of his character but in Thor 2 his parts are by far the best.
- More action...although the beginning drags a bit Marvel definitely amps up the action in this one
- Visually this is probably the best looking Marvel film to date. The sets and the cgi are done exceptionally well

Cons
- Underdeveloped villain...isn't this true with nearly every marvel film so far? Great heroes, good entertainment but always a let down in either story or villain.
- Mediocre final battle
- Too many jokes and interruptions with attempts at humor...I understand sprinkling in some humor here and there but I find it that Marvel is way too insistent on having a joke nearly every 2-3 minutes. For once I would like to see an emotional turning point or an epic action sequence not be littered with jokes

We're going to have to ask you to leave the internet now. Please go peacefully in order to maintain some semblance of respectability.

I'd give it a B. Much like Iron Man 3, it doesn't take itself too seriously but the dialogue and action is interesting and its not as dumb as IM3 or the new Wolverine movie

Darker than the first. I liked the visuals and the storyline, although a few times it was like Thor was more interested in banging Loki than Portman. Thor and her have one of the most forced love relationships in cinematic history. 0 chemistry. Painful to watch two complete pieces of wood try to act out a romance.

Every human portrayed in this movie was ridiculous as well. They all came off like slapstick cartoon characters. They were there as props to obviously provide comic relief, but just looked stupid.

Boo this man!

Explain to me how Captain america is better than thor!!!

Not saying i am not a cap fan, but he is the most boring of all the avengers, and a clear rip off on superman... When the most interesting character in captain america is Bucky(cap's best friend and fellow WW2 hero) and how he is brainwashed into becoming the winter soldier, and not captain america then you know something is wrong...

I'm simply joshing with you. Not a fan of Superman, too powerful. Pick a power and stick with it, you can't have them all, that's lame.

I've actually come to the conclusion, with the exception of Iron Man, the Avengers individually aren't all that great.

I knew you were kidding... but a little geek debate can be fun... I used to love superman. still think he is one of the best superheroes... the problem with him is that the recent movies have sucked and thats how too many people perceive him...

On the topic of debating which superhero is better (cap, superman, etc.)

Here's my nerdy top 5 list
