I'd still take Young.

Man I don't think he's gonna hold up. He took a lot of sacks in College (especially 2021) and then was the 2nd highest most by a rookie in NFL history. Add to that he's like 5 feet tall... I think he's toast. One of the major reasons I wasn't high on him. And if you're taking that many sacks... yah it could be your team sucks (Bama didn't), but I think there could be something else wrong too. Perhaps you're just not able to process the field as quick or do pre-snap reads.

That team was such a mess that I'm giving him a mulligan. Let's see what some course correction for the franchise can do. Of course, the next question is do they have the right people making those changes.

Mingo was pretty bad, but he was expected to be raw. Imagine if they had taken any of the next 4 WRs picked after him (Reed, Rice, Mims, Dell) or even a TE (Musgrave) instead of Mingo at #39.
