I hadn't heard about this. But the story checks out. Drake is running hurdles for the track team at MichIran, so it is definitely possible.

If it is true, it'd just add to this guy's bad luck. He was a nationally ranked hurdler coming out of high school and just has suffered one injury after another.

Hopefully the one comment in the blog is right and he is "mostly ok"

Johnson’s time at Michigan has been wrought with unlucky occurrences. He tore his ACL in the 2013 season opener against Central Michigan. He had a breakout season in 2014 before suffering another ACL tear during the 2014 season finale against Ohio State.

This is ridiculous. With all of the emphasis on player safety, for what possible purpose doe they need to be driving a forklift across an area where athletes are stretching? And for that matter, who drives such a thing without being able to see where they are going?

On a scale from 1 to "shit for brains" this ranks right the hell up there.
