Did anyone see that Caleb Williams 70 yard TD pass?! That was incredible - he fumbled the snap, picked it up and threw it way downfield and the receiver took it to the house.

Story appears to be the same with USC - great offense, weak defense.

Rich Rod was all ready to sign on as Bama coach when Mrs Rodriquez said there was no way she was going to move to Alabama.

Enter Nick Saban instead.

Rich Rod started his trek downward and, well, you know where we went.

So we are grateful.at the beginning of every year to Mrs Rodriquez.

The defense should be ok. They had a lot of transfers and some freshmen playing their first game together. They were also rotating guys in and out more than they will later when the depth chart is more settled.

Last years defense relied on turnovers to get stops. This defense, at least yesterday, actually got 3 and outs and pressured the QB quite a bit.

In the end, it was the kind of win coaches love. They were never really threatened, but they have lots to yell at the players about this week. lol
