What Hernandez did should not be a reflection on Urban at all. Nobody can ever claim they know somebody who could potentially murder somebody down the road. Thousands of players have failed drug test through the history of football, Hernandez is a complete outlier.

Blaming Urban would be like blaming Osborne for Lawrence Phillips murdering somebody or blaming Rick Neuheisel for Rae Carruth conspiring to murder his baby momma. When you're recruiting a kid out of high school, the furthest thing from these coaches' minds is that in 7 years they will be murderers. Hernandez was screwed once he got all that money. He thought he was invincible after that. I'm sure he still does think that even though he's being put away for life.

I'm already on record for disagreeing with this idea, so I won't go into it again. However, what Urban Meyer seems to have left out of his recollections was that Hernandez was questioned, along with three other UF football players, in a murder investigation in 2007. It was more than just a "failed drug test" that was known to the coach that might have tipped him off.

So questioned means he will commit murder later? Then I guess we should be waiting for the other 2 that were question to murder somebody.

My point is that he knew about more than just a failed drug test. Unless he forgot. Or he lied.

La'el Collins is being questioned about a murder this week. Clearly that's on Les Miles, right?

:rolleyes2:

Hernandez made his own mistakes here, you can't say anyone saw this coming.

was wondering if we could get some Ohio State fans on record about the new Aaron Hernandez documentary. Specifically, how much culpability they think Urban Meyer has.

What year did Hernandez play for Ohio State? Shouldn’t you be asking Florida fans?

Well of course he should, but trying to troll Ohio State is all he has left at this point.

Aaron Hernandez and Penn State could've been one of the greatest couples of all time. It's a real shame they never found each other.
:sigh:

Florida fans tell the hard truth about this.

Ohio State fans deny, deny, deny.

Florida fans are still blaming Meyer a decade after he left that shit hole for the state of the program.

While still incredibly pathetic, I can at least see the line of thinking in UF fans hating Urban. HD is on another planet with his anguish though. I think what boils his blood is that a coach would take a team, dominate his conference with them, and then leave for a better school.
