Agreed on that - I like Ozzie, but I don't see him as the solution to the Sox woes.

My problem with Ozzie is that he'd make it all about himself. Plus listening to that annoying accent in all his interviews would drive me bananas.

The Dodgers are $ billion-dollar team with a 10 cent closer. It might make sense to trade Hendriks to a team that will readily overpay for him.

Quintana might be a good bargain rack pitcher in FA.

If the Brewers don't pick up Kolten Wong's option for $10 Million - I think the Sox ought to sign him for 2nd base as a LH with some power and two golden gloves (although last year Wong had 15 errors).

If the rumor is true the Sox are hiring the bench coach of a last place team, a guy the Royals didn't even hire themselves for their managerial opening, then that is the most White Sox thing to happen ever. I'm laughing, but also hollow inside.

Of course there's the possibility that some of these players might still re-sign with their current teams, but it's nonetheless a pretty sizable list overall. Interesting that only one of the Top 20, Dansby Swanson, is under 30 and barely at that - he'll be 29 when ST commences. There are definitely some pickins for the Good Guys in this batch. Remains to be seen tho how active we'll be.

Probably...but it won't be us unless he takes a 40 year deal with team options for years 3-40 and incentive clauses in the first 2.

AJ Pollock - he gone. Against all expectation - Pollock took the $5 million buyout instead of the $13 million player option. Hahn expects OF help will more likely come from trades and not FA.
