Smoak looks like a different player at the plate so far. Swing is way more compact and he's jumping on pitches. And Pujols is a shell of his former self. That game last night he had a pitch that he used to send 400+ feet and he couldn't even get it near the warning track. I knew the contract was going to be an albatross for the Angels at some point but I didn't realize that point was going to be the year after they signed him.

The M's outscored the Angels 26-8 in the 3 game sweep. They hit almost .500 with RISP.

That was an impressive series to see from those young guys. Smoak, Miller, and Ackley are absolutely crushing balls so far.
