Interestingly, I hadn't even noticed this until now, "Michigan is sixth in early collective preseason rankings, Tennessee seventh and Washington tied for 10th."

Interesting observations by this article though. It's kind of odd how all 3 teams took a giant shit right after the 2001 season and haven't been the same since.

Quite honestly, I hadn't noticed Washington sneak into the top 10 -- or even rankings. I was a bit surprised to see them there.

They showed promise last year. Best defense in the Pac 12 with an offense that made clear improvement throughout the year, and really young.
