The bullpen just needs to throw strikes. Period. If they give up hits, they give up hits. But at least the other team would be earning their runs. Our relievers would only give up half of the runs that they do if they would just quit walking so many batters. Perez had 2 outs and nobody on, and then his 2 walks started the big 2-out rally for the M’s.

I believe, if we sweep the Angels and Seattle wins exactly 2 of the 3 against Houston, we will have it won. I think that is right.

Seriously I can't believe they actually held on. I know I'm negative but when you have the worst bullpen in baseball I just can't expect good things. It is how I am wired.

Houston would have to go 5-1 to finish 90-72 & they would win the tiebreaker
The only chance Seattle has is for us to go 2-5 and they go 6-1 because we own the tie breaker with them

I missed this game and for my health it was probably a good thing. LOL! My man Stratton! What happened! Nice job by JHern and Leclerc.

Having our offense back with the addition of Evan has been a big lift. Lowe still is garbage but as as Ranger fan I have to hope he battles out of it and starts becoming productive. Now lets keep the momentum going.

Houston has Verlander pitching against Seattle but he hasn't pitched well except us.
