Ok, this thread is pretty simple. What did you think of the Royals efforts at the trade deadline? Do you think they should have been 'sellers' ( I would be one of them, but that is over now) should the Royals have been more aggressive and say trade for a Gordon Beckham, Aybar, etc ( Kendrick had a no trade clause). Do you think the Royals should have stood pat? OR, OR, do you think what the Royals did this dead line was just fine.​

Reminder on what the trade(s) were this year:

Justin Maxwell (HOU) traded to the Royals for A-ball pitcher Kyle Smith

Maxwell - terrible...should have held on to Frenchy...same freakin player..
Carroll...no freakin point...same as Johnson but without the speed
Bonaficio - actully should have got him sooner or Jacob Turner from the Mets...like this because speed, young and has hit before.

If they don't have a chance by 5 days before the waiver deadline...put Santana on it if they can't sign him....

actually liked they waited on Santana, could get much more for him on waivers...

Aybar or Kendrick would have been way too expesive...this year and what prospects we would have to give up. Beckham would have been like Frenchy...all potential but came up too early and doesn't want to change what got him success early on...everyone has to change approach after the first few years...its adjusting to another level...early success doesn't mean crap.

we arent the only one, seems MLB pitchers don't want to throw in or IBB like they have in the past to the top hitter in the game...guess they respected Bonds, Dunn, Galaraga, Brett more than Miggy. If they really wanted to heat up a rivalry like old time baseball, they should have put one on his shin....

Yes, Vice invited me to the Tigers board....I accepted his invitation....the Royals always have a chance in the AL central....everyone does....Sox just about won it last year now last....easily weakest division in baseball still.
