There's a difference between child abuse" and punishing his kid in the wrong way. I'm not condoning it. He took it way too far. My parents were from the "old school" form of discipline and I got beat by a switch too from time to time. Doesn't make it right. I've never and will never do that to my kids, but to classify this the same kind of "child abuse" to the same degree as Penn State is moronic. Just another reason why no one gives a shit about your opinions post after retarded post.

the 4 year old was bleeding from his privates. thats child abuse.

B Dub who posted the rainbow above. You think hitting a 4 year old till his privates are bleeding is ok?

It looked excessive to me for sure. But it's hardly the worst thing in the world IMO.

Sorry, but I don't paint it in the same light as someone who beats a kid near to death, puts cigarettes out on them, breaks bones, etc.

If that's the worst thing that ever happens to that kid, he is lottery lucky.

Read my messages genius. I never said it was okay. It's stupid, dumb, and he absolutely went too far with his discipline. I simply said I don't classify it in the same league as the Penn State deal or "child abuse to that nature". Is that so difficult to understand?

It's not the worst thing but its still abuse. The kid was 4 years old. there's very little a 4 year old can do that deserves that.

I don't disagree. But I think intent and other such things matter.

Can someone remind me why in the hell this guy didn't win the Heisman? Probably one of the top 3 best players to not have won a Heisman but deserved to.

I agree. Offensive linemen don't get the credit they deserve. Oh, you meant the other guy, didn't you? Well, I guess he was good too.

I hear AP likes to shake peoples hands with a grip that can crack a coconut. There's an issue there somewhere.

Good Gawd is this true. I shook his hand as a sophomore and I literally thought he broke some fingers for a while there. Definitely recommend going for the fist bump.

Definitely could make a strong case for his freshman year. Injuries really derailed his production the next 2 though.

Who else is in your top 3 that didn't win? Vince Young was the first guy that came to mind for me.

Keep in mind, I'm young so in my lifetime: AP, Vince Young, and Peyton Manning (no particular order). I still think AP didn't win because at that time no freshman had won it before.
