he never said if all the threads and history here on the hoop including post count ,rep and join date would would carry over or not,

well the post and rep count plus the join date showed some kind of pecking order,if none of the stats carry over you won't be able to tell the old from the new,

I did it several times for a forum on a site I used to run. Not the size of here, but the process should be the same ...

on the rep thing,,,,how many people had very much rep last year,now that the reps have had time to build up,it is no shock that your rep is going to grow faster now than it did a year ago with no changes think how fast your rep will build

my rep count is growing at a rate of about 10k a week next year at this time it will be growning at a rate at least 3x what it is now,,,simple math

it's more than that a year ago we were big shits if we could give out 50 rep points,now everyone that has been here anytime at all can hand out anywhere from 500 to 2.5K,,,,,

it doesn't take long to get to 10k in reps anymore,,,look at us here if you,me, MS,blue and north were to rep the same person at the same time we could lay 9+k on him in just a few minutes
