Even if we dump bad contracts ( Vinny AMac) I don't know of any free agents out there that could make a difference in us winning the cup this coming season.

Without looking at salaries I'd have to pass. Ghost and Morin will be cost controlled for foreseeable future and Vinny and L. Schenn could be off the books as early as next year.

I'd say no to that deal because it's a major over payment by the Flyers in my opinion. I think I'm in the minority who has no interest in moving the Schenns though. I still think Brayden will take a big step this year and Luke is a good shot blocker/Pk guy who if put into the right role can be really solid for us.

I don't think I'd do that trade either. That's just too many roster players or potential roster players for 2 guys. The value I'm somewhat ok with, what concerns me is what the flyers do to fill the net negative 4 players. Granted that's counting them a year or two down the road and assuming ghost and morin make the team.

I really like where they are now. If they stand pat here and ride out the season, I think they're competing for a playoff spot for sure. And the future looks extremely bright. I really really like everything hextall has done in the past week or so. Nuevy, the draft, the trade, and the resigns. Like them all very much.

Not really. I still don't think jvr is that good. I think I'm the right situation, bschenn provides about the same as jvr.

I'm kinda with you though, I'm not overly eager to move the schenns. I think more patience is needed with them. Let's ride it out and see where they are as the team improves. Maybe they're not top 6/4 guys, but they could be great depth on a cup,contender.

Honestly I think that team, or some combination of it, makes the playoffs. Would be great to bring back MDZ though. Last thing on the to do list if I'm getting every dream to come true. Which hextall is apparently capable of.
