The Women's World Cup parade is today and my god is this going to be uncomfortable. Watching the news and the crowd is sparse. Before they were showing panning shots and it was barren, so now any shots of the crowd are zooming in on families or girls soccer teams. They're in damage control mode for this thing.

Had a really good season last year. 8 million pound release clause? Considering he signed his latest deal in January in the midst of a great season (on a terrible team at the time, but...) that's some pretty shitty management, especially considering that he's a homegrown player.

Annnnnnd scratch that - backed out of the deal last minute. Guess City couldn't guarantee him starts.
