Just a heads up but I've got it on good authority that this fall's Catalan vote for independence will go through throwing Spain into a bit of turmoil. Catalonia will closely be followed by the Basque Country and then from there is anybodies guess. But those two dominoes are going to fall and with it who knows what's going to happen to La Liga. That league is going to fall on hard times. Book it! but only bet half of the farm on it.
I can't remember such a pile of shitstorms happening before a PL season opener. First the Danny Rose interview in The Sun where he claimed he and other Spurs stars feel underpaid and are pissed with the lack of signings (both valid points), then the Van Dijk transfer request, and now the shitshow at Liverpool with the team issuing a statement saying he isn't for sale at any price followed by Sky reporting he handed in a transfer request right after followed by denials by both the club and club-immersed reporters followed by confirmation by the club that he did indeed request a transfer.
Wow has the Premier League become charmin soft. What ever happened to the the bad boys at Blackburn and Stoke? Grapes cannot be happy with what he saw tonight.
