50% would probably put their portugal shirts back on

/on that note ... kelowna's love for the canucks has been thoroughly replaced by a love of the seahawks ... big time

I've probably come across half of the GTA's 275,000 residents of Portuguese descent, and am yet to meet one who holds anything but disdain for Brazil and everything associated with it, including their national soccer team.

Im not going to go full stupid and say with some make believe authoritative precision that i have "come across" over a 100k pork and cheese in my lifetime but igrew up with a large number of them and have seen them pull this act in my presence

Brazil have many colonialist portuguese fanboys

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? I can see it maybe having been likely back in the 70s and 80s when Portugal couldn't get their shit together, but save for a few dipshits I haven't seen it in the fifteen years I've been active in the Portuguese community.

i have seen it happen with my own eyes ... i dont know if its different here because Brazil fans have used the Portuguese Club on Commercial drive as their home base for major tournaments in the past 15 years

when portugal lost to spain in 2010 a whole table of patrons took off their porto shirts to reveal brazil shirts underneath ... and they were cheered lol

echoes of a wwe heel turn

That's actually pretty funny. Despicable, but funny.

Italy leads the Netherlands 2-0 after 10 minutes. They've scored as many goals in 10 minutes as they did in three World Cup games. :ohwell:

So I guess it was all Prandrelli's fault then?

no Balotelli for this one and Immobile is really testing de dutch (and officials) alot ... young version of Di Vaio virtually offside every kick to him

also ... to be fair (deported) there was a Bruno Martins Indi red card for a foul in the area and a De Rossi pk

Always thought Inzaghi was the go-to paisan for offside kings.

Pippo got away with them much better ... but Di Viao was/is the king of pushing the envelope on every ball to him ... check last seasons M(ediocre)LS stats for proof

Would be so good if true, but I definitely don't believe it. That would be some psychopath shit and to be fair to the guy I've never seen that from him.
