The logic in this guy's two start pitchers

besides his top starter Kershaw, this is who his two starts consisted of this week.

Gausman
Pomeranz
Manaea
Cain

Only one currently has -5.5 points(Cain) but if he has a good game tomorrow that will even itself out. Was there any reason to say these four pitchers were startable this week or is this one of those throw it up there and see what sticks strategies?

Pomeranz and Manaea should usually be used every time they have 2.
Gausman is hit or miss, but if I owned him I would start him on 2 start weeks.

Cain... yeah, see what sticks.

What is there to research? ***goes to FA list, 2 -start options, chooses best matchups.

Did he do that? I have no idea.

As far as picking players up for any reason other than wanting them?? Ya lost me.

Looks at matchups? Pomeranz is playing Detroit this weekend, a team hard to trust a pitcher against, and he just played at NY; Gausman just played the pirates and he has yankees next in NY; Manaea played Toronto and plays at TB next; Cain played the brewers and now has the twins.

I actually came back and won that week because his pitchers put together a monumental tank job that Sunday(Pom, Gausman, Cain). However before that he had 3 losses on the year and was on a winning streak since a 1-3 start. He's winning again the last two weeks.
