its all about the markets and i guess they want uva/gt for the academics as well

and another rumor going is that the big 12 has offers out to fsu and miami......the florida schools will leave the acc if(looking like when now) gt leaves the acc

There's two goals here. 1) They want the TV markets mostly. 2) They're cherry picking shitty teams in those markets so their traditionals like Ohio St and Michigan won't have to be challenged competitively.

i wouldnt mind that but even though these two seem joined together i just cant see them leaving the acc rivalries in basketball.

If UNC is gonna leave the ACC, the B1G would take them before GT.

The problem is the BoT for UNC is the same for NCST.

So they can't split until both of them are happy. That means UNC needs to make NCST happy with getting into the Big XII because they won't ever be in the Big Ten and the SEC won't take 3 Carolina teams.
