Unless, they completely run off the rails and go 2-8, I think they wait to make the decision a little later in the month. Maybe after the game with Oakland on the 28th. That gives them 16 games to decide.

I think it takes almost a perfect storm for us to trade away any player of significance. We would have to go something like 5-11 or maybe 6-10, while at least a couple of teams vying for the second WC play very well and put some real distance between them and us. Then on top of that some team will have to completely bowl us over by offering us a top flight prospect who is already manhandling AA, as well as another valuable piece or two.

I just hope the other teams who talk to us have what they offer us leaked to the media. If not, many will give the Rangers a pass by saying no one offered us much.

Close or not he needed to swing the bat. He has paid zero dues.
Deserved the strikeout. But still he runs the mouth

Marisnek intent or not got 2 games for clobbering LuCroy and our guy AC got 4 games for tossing a glove.
A bit of inequity. If ESPN staff thinks it so unfair for Jake then ru,e is what needs changing. That I have no problem with

Normally I feel bad for a player when he gets hurt no matter what, but I’ll make an exception for bregman.

Bregman is an annoying little shit with a big mouth who thinks he’s funny when he’s not. He calls us the Arlington rangers and talks mad shit about us.

I hope he loses teeth. He’s a piece of garbage.

Just think, if Wash hadn't have quit on the team when he did, Bregman could have been ours instead of Dillon Tate. Of course, we would have probably traded him by now.

Perhaps for elite pitching ready for this window?

I didn't think Lynn should have been picked as one of the original pitchers for the All Star game but when Minor took himself out I thought Lynn should have replaced him. But for selfish reasons I am glad he wasn't so he would be ready to pitch tonight.

In the games we have won lately Odor has been a major component of those wins. I know he has been non existent in most games this year so I am not brushing that aside.

This team could be good if we sign 1 or 2 starters in the offseason and a good reliever.

Doesn’t feel too far away.

This team could move lots of pieces. Do they roll the dice and get a haul of prospects for guys like Minor, Lynn, Chris Martin, LeCLerc, Chavez, Shawn Kelley, Pence, Mazara, Choo? Guess it all depends on returns. The other option is trading away a few pieces and keeping your SP that is controllable and try to build a WS caliber team through FA with the intentions of being in contention for the next couple seasons and beyond.
