Some thoughts on the weekend games using the classic movie reference.
The Good: The Saints/ Panthers, round 3. Not a perfect game but entertaining and came right down to the wire. Hard fought between 2 division rivals with plenty of scoring but also some really good defense at times.
The Bad: Bills/Jags. We've all seen some terrible games over the years but this might have been the worst QB play we have ever seen from 2 play-off teams. The only bright spot on offense was the heart of Shady McCoy balling on one leg.
A close second to that game was the Chiefs second half play. 56 total yds on offense when they had the game right where they wanted is pathetic. Kudos to the Titans but the Chiefs really gave it away big time, imo.
Both of these games were just bad football.
The Ugly: The LA Coliseum turf. Watching those guys slip and slide on that field almost ruined what was a really good match-up and game. Blake Bortles throwing short passes is ugly as well.
