matter of opinion. you can raise case that the east coasts through the season and much of playoffs due to weak competition...the mavericks would put up better fight than 76ers ever could. the heat have to beat the pacers and really no real challenges outside of them. that and a good 50-60 games against weak competition during season

Muuuuuch easier to go through playoffs in least-east and be fresh for finals....the WC has to beat each other up to get there, plain and simple. Spurs came oh so close last year if not for a 3 pointer by someone other than LeClown.

Dominant in the regular season, yes but not so much in the playoffs. Even though they did win the title, it took them 26 games to do so.

Depends on what you see / consider as impressive. Impressive, too me, is what Detroit did as a big underdog in the 2004 Finals.

Or the Lakers steamrolling the competition going 16-1 in the postseason to win a title.

Or Miami erasing series deficit's in B2B series (1-2 and 2-3) and then winning it all as the underdog going into 2012 Finals.

Like I said, depends on what you see as impressive.
