Let's be honest. Scarface sucked dick. The most overrated gangster film, or just film in general in cinematic history.

Pulp Fiction and Goodfellas influenced many, many movies. The Departed, while very enjoyable, was a copy. Scarface has some good one liners and a couple of good scenes but is long and uneven

I think The Departed was the best of all four. Leonardo, Damon, (who I don't even like that much) and Nicholson all in one movie kicked ass. Pacino was way too over the top in Scarface. If I catch another motherfucker saying "Say hello to my little friend," I'm fucking beating their ass.

Also, I don't view The Departed as a copy. Yes, other movies influenced it, as they should have, but I can't think of another movie that had two rats infiltrate the other's group and work from inside of it. Great fucking movie.

Well, I figured that something else had to have a similar story line, but I mean the Departed wasn't just recycling lines and scenes from Resoiver Dogs, The Godfather, or Scarface. It gave a very new twist to the gangster film genre and I think that we can all agree on that.

I don't think Scarface sucked. IMO The Departed, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas and Scarface are all some of the greatest movies ever made and you could arrange them in any order. With the exception of Scarface, the other three are 3 of my favorite movies ever.

I enjoyed Goodfellas, but I also think it's overrated. I mean Goodfellas is good and overrated, whereas Scarface is awful and overrated.

For me Goodfellas and Pulp Fiction are 1 and 1A (not sure what order) and I'd put Departed 3 and Scarface 4. I may be the only one but my problem with Departed is I honestly had trouble telling the difference between Leonardo Dicaprio and Matt Damon. I would lose track of which one was which. They are too much alike.

Could not have said it any better. I'd put the rest in that same order, too, with The Departed far above any of the others.

I'll go one step further and say that outside of Titanic (which I never saw all of but heard enough about it to know DiCaprio was in it) if you named any of their movies it would be 50-50 whether I guessed which one was in which.
