Yep you would have to think if Utah wins out they will have a chance. They still need UGA to lose to LSU. It will be interesting to see if Bama were to somehow blow out Auburn (don't think it will happen) what the committee thinks. Also, Oklahoma and Utah is an interesting argument, I would take Utah right now though.

Picking a subset of data to argue against a statement made about the entire set is completely invalid. And you know it.

His career numbers on the road aren't great. Hell, I believe he has 7 wins and 9 losses in career road games. That alone is not the resume of a heisman caliber QB even in a legit conference, more or less the dumpster fire of the Pac12.

He has career road losses against Oregon State, Cal, Zona, pretty much every meh team in the conf. That road loss at WSU was pretty entertaining, and yet telling of how not ready Herbert was that day.

He's a good QB, but not quite elite IMO. Will he even be as not good as Mariota was in the pros? Jury is out, but I don't see him being a quality starter there either.
