By jumping ASU over us.

Now if we win it would be a road win over a top 10 team ranked ahead of us.

TCU got screwed.

It is confirmed now that they have no shot of making it unless Bama & Auburn both lose another game.

If either team wins out and so does Oregon/FSU, they're done

We're in a decent position to make the Playoff.

If we beat ASU that gives us our quality road win.

TCU and Kansas St play this week. And Ohio St could possibly knock of Michigan St.

With a good week we could move up 3 spots.

Yep I think we would jump Michigan State & the loser of K-State/TCU with a win

We would without a doubt jump the loser of Kansas St/TCU if we win.

Also Oregon and Alabama have some tough games this week too.

So pretty much everything I said last week held true, although Ole Miss did stay above a few 1 loss teams instead of dropping down to the 16 range. Personally had Ole Miss below LSU in my rankings.

As for TCU. Geez dude, will you ever stop and listen to people who obviously know more about these things than you do, or will you be having these end of the world knee jerk reactions every week?

Alabama plays both Miss St and Auburn. So if Alabama wins out, BOTH those teams have a loss added. #2 for Auburn = out. It will be loss #1 for Miss St, but Miss St has a weak SoS and they will not stay above other 1 loss teams. And Miss St still has to play Ole Miss as well in the egg bowl.

The only way the SEC gets 2 teams at this point is if both Miss St and Auburn wins out. And that will likely be deserved.

Personally, I'm not even sure why TCU is seen as the big deal, They have a conference loss already to Baylor and while they pulled out the win last week against WVU, they weren't the dominate team by far. K-State on the other hand played Auburn well and is undefeated in conference play.

You get told things on a weekly basis that things will work out over time and it will become much clearer every week and you just don't listen.

the way the committee is picking teams is OSU would jump us even with a Win. So bias these polls. We can't even move up when a team ahead of loses.

If Mississippi States goes 11-1, they will get in over TCU and so will the winner of Bama/Auburn IF they run the game. Obviously if Mississippi State lose to both Bama & Ole Miss, TCU would jump over them obviously but that wasn't my point.

Point is TCU CANNOT pass a 11/12-1 Mississippi State team or a 11-1/12-1 Bama/Auburn team. What is so hard to understand?

Miss St is only in the mix because they are undefeated. They have an OOC schedule that is for bottom feeder teams trying to get 6 wins for a bowl game, not a team going for a championship. They have 0 P5 OOC teams on their schedule.

On top of that, they have the Vandy and Kentucky as their SEC East teams. 2 of the worst teams from the SEC East.

Their schedule strength is not going to keep them above other 1 loss teams. They also have 0 name brand recognition or program recognition. This year is their first time as #1 in the country. Of all the teams in the mix, they are the ones that have to be undefeated the most. They might would end up higher than 1 loss FSU.

There is nothing hard to understand here for me. I'm not the one who goes crazy every week about these things, even as Alabama hasn't been in the top4. I know things will work themselves out properly, and that by the end of the year the top4 will be pretty clear as more football gets played.

This is going to be a good week for Notre Dame if they win. I have a feeling Oregon or Bama gets upset this week

Committee look at is as they beat a ranked Utah team (who did not drop at all btw) while we struggled with a bad/mediocre Navy team.

I'm not bother by that....The higher the jump the better for us since we play them this weekend.

If it was another team who was not on our schedule I would be upset about it but this is our chance to prove we are better than ASU

Well, I was a bit worried about the LSU game, but this has really lifted my spirits.

I said ASU would jump Notre Dame and sure enough they did. If Notre Dame beat them they won't get the kind of jump people think they will, just wait.

There's going to be a lot of movement in front of us, these next couple of weeks.

There could be a lot of movement this week alone.

TCU and K-State play, so 1 will drop down for sure.

And of course, if ND beats ASU, that will be a 2nd spot.

It still only puts them at 8 and they may not get much higher than that.
