I can't wait for the Requiem for the Big East. Will be a lot of Cuse and Gtown in that for sure, make sure y'all watch it'll be fantastic I am sure.

I got say I miss the Big East, brutal play, amazing teams year in year out.

Took me a while to okay the ACC move, Pitt and Louisville coming in made it easier, though I miss our Gtown and Uconn battles.

ACC will be the premier conference heading forward for sure.

Sad.

Especially because the BET was a breeding ground for drunk alumni to 'interact', many of which inhabit NYC and play hooky from work to go the day games. You haven't lived until you've seen a 57 year old banker with a Pitt sweatshirt swearing at some 21 year old kid with a Nova jersey. One of the most fun experiences I have ever had.

To say Xavier-Creighton at the Garden doesn't have the same cachet would be an understatement.

I blame Cuse. When was the last time anybody cared about Cuse football anyway? They have backup point guards from the ACC running the QB.

Yeah, the conference is going downhill after losing their powerhouse.

I grew up in CT in the 90's and was big into basketball... remember going to camps and being in awe of not just the big time coaches like Boeheim and Calhoun, but also seeing Carlisemo and Lou Carny there. Teams were stacked across the board.... no longer. St. Johns in particular use to be a power and has gone MIA in the recent years.

That won't hold up. Villanova will win this one.

So much for my dark horse pick of St. Johns.

This tournament has suddenly lost a lot of appeal.
