I wouldn't get too crazy yet. You have to look at the teams he is throwing against. Between FAU, BYU and Utah State, they have 0 wins against FBS teams and their only wins are Idaho State, Portland State and Bethune Cookman. Not including Wisconsin, they are 0-4 in FBS games losing by an avg of 26 ppg.

I have no doubt Hornibrook will get stronger, but he will never be known as a QB to stretch the field with his arm. Arm strength is something you are blessed with, you can slightly improve it but it isn't something that you can teach. It has to do with hand size, body type, etc. -- think of it like the MLB and how some pitchers can throw 100, others only 90.

The good thing for Wisconsin -- they aren't a team who spreads it out and throws a ton of deep balls. Another good thing for Wisconsin, they play in the West, which looks terrible this year and you don't face OSU or PSU.

I can't see anyone beating Wisconsin, until Michigan makes Wisconsin's offense look silly again. :behindsofa:
Another 14-7 unwatchable game of bad offenses like last year?

Is a MSU fan honestly talking about being unwatchable? The train wreck that is the MSU program right now is unwatchable. :suds:

Never claimed we were. Why do you think I went on a 47 mile backpacking trip to re-evaluate my life choices?

Did you start the hike during the CFB season last year? UM's bad offense was one of only 9 teams to average 40 ppg.

It looked like a shit offense against Wisconsin. Your kicker was absolute trash as well. Were you on a walk about for that game?

Fun fact... Michigan's offense did not average 40 points a game last year.

So did Florida's offense score two touchdowns on Michigan this year?

How many touchdowns did Ohio State's offense score on Michigan in regulation last year?

Feel free to post the link that shows otherwise. Using that logic, field goals don't count either, neither does extra points.

The defense and returned 2 point conversions scored 38 points. That's not including the drives where the offense did absolutely nothing and they got free points because the defense gave th offense the ball in field goal range like they did against Florida. Michigan's offense, including field goals and extra points from their offensive touchdowns, scored less than 40 points a game.

Feel free to show me the link that provides the 'true' PPG leaders.

The way Michigan's offense looks right now, I don't think any B1G game outside of Rutgers is a "lock" for them.

I'm sure they'll scrape by Purdue. Purdue looks quite a bit better than last year so far, but they still don't have the horses to go start to finish against the better teams.

Interesting year for this conference.

If they could score in the red zone they'd be fine.

I honestly don't know how to evaluate Wisconsin yet

Utah State is bad, they just got ran over by Wake Forest
FAU is a turd as well
BYU is not very good this year, their offense looks god awful in every game they've played.

they've looked good but you have to consider the competition.
