Its good but honestly probably wouldn't even have that as a top 5 VS song.

I lean towards Yellow Ledbetter but you could sell me on Alive, Black, Jeremy, Immortality, or Corduroy.
Yellow ledbetter was #2

This is probably easier to do on bands that aren't my favorite but I've heard pretty much everything.

My vote for Linkin Park is Breaking the Habit. Its confessional and lyric-driven by Chester who is the better singer and committed suicide so I think its a tough song to get through because its so empowering. It avoids many of the rap-rock stuff that will date some Linkin Park songs. I think the beat was written first and they spent years hammering out of the lyrics. I think it also avoids the nursery rhyme chorus thats in some LP songs.

Foo Fighters is Everlong. Probably the only one of their songs that should be played on 'classic rock' radio imo although a few others sneak in.

I actually like Rod's rendition and think it's a better song the way he did it. That doesn't mean I think the Temps version is bad, Just think you're right

I like Rod's rendition better too. It probably doesn't make my top 10 Temptation songs but I can't really single out a favorite. Here's one though..

I have a hard time picking any artist from before the 90s but I'll give it a stab
